NEW APAC PARTNERSHIP FOR RUNECAST & ANATAS

By ANATAS

STRATEGIC ALLIANCE ANNOUNCEMENT: ANATAS, an FTS Group company and award-winning software integrations provider for the APAC region, has today announced that it has combined forces with Runecast, maker of Runecast Analyzer, a patented, predictive analytics for VMware and AWS environments.

The partnership further confirms the commitment of both companies to assist customers in Australia and New Zealand with more advanced and resilient operational models – with an emphasis on cost savings, security compliance, and increased efficiency and transparency for business continuity in VMware and AWS environments.

“We are thrilled to be partnering with the team at ANATAS to offer Runecast Analyzer’s proactive insights to customers in our market,” said Andre Carpenter, Senior Director of Channel Sales APAC at Runecast. “With a strong reputation on the market and a driven partnership ethic as a mature professional services provider, ANATAS clearly represents what we look for in a high-quality channel partner.”

Runecast Analyzer provides automated configuration and security compliance checks for VMware and AWS data centers. This provides IT System Administrators responsible for security compliance and uptime in those environments a more proactive approach to ensuring ideal operational control.

The partnership means that ANATAS, which offers a strong professional services portfolio, will be able to enhance service offerings with Runecast Analyzer, and Runecast will be able to strengthen its local presence in the APAC region, where it has a 100% Channel model go-to-market approach.

“We are excited to add Runecast Analyzer to our service offerings,” said Jason Frost, CEO at ANATAS. “Strong partnerships are key to our success at ANATAS. Our customers look to ANATAS for trusted guidance and the Runecast Analayzer solution will be key to expanding and strengthening our offering within the Cloud Practice.”

ANATAS is one of the first Australia partners to join the Runecast channel program and will be able to acquire and support Runecast customers by providing holistic remediation consultancy and support services on the results generated by Runecast Analyzer.

With an ever-increasing focus on compliance and robust information security management, Runecast Analyzer answers the challenge by monitoring and reporting on configuration issues, providing automated compliance checks against VMware and AWS security hardening guidelines and common security standards such as CIS, NIST, PCI DSS, DISA STIG, and HIPAA.

Organisations already using Runecast Analyzer to mitigate service risks and ensure maximum efficiency and performance within their data centers include Chevron, Erste Bank, Raiffeisen Bank, de Volksbank, Fujisoft, Scania, Avast Software, the NHS, and the German Aerospace Center (DLR). An Enterprise Console provides a single-dashboard view for enterprises with larger environments.

Companies that use Runecast report increased uptime and audit-readiness for security compliance and as much as 80% savings of previous time spent only reactively and manually troubleshooting issues.

Now’s the Time for 400G Migration

The optical fibre community is anxiously awaiting the benefits that 400G capacity per wavelength will bring to existing and future fibre optic networks.

Nearly every business wants to leverage the latest in digital offerings to remain competitive in their respective markets and to provide support for fast and ever-increasing demands for data capacity. 400G is the answer.

Initial challenges are associated with supporting such project and upgrades to fulfil the promise of higher-capacity transport.

The foundation of optical networking infrastructure includes coherent optical transceivers and digital signal processing (DSP), mux/demux, ROADM, and optical amplifiers, all of which must be able to support 400G capacity.

With today’s proprietary power-hungry and high cost transceivers and DSP, how is migration to 400G networks going to be a viable option?

PacketLight's next-generation standardised solutions may be the answer. Click below to read the full article.
